Sorry it has been a while!

Okay, sorry it has been so long since the last post, but I am kinda getting adjusted to leaving the house...when I get home I am a wee bit tired! BUT, mom is here this weekend and I got 8 hours of sleep last night!!!!!!!!! Mom's rock!! So here are some updated pics! Really, what do I say..for those of you who know Katie...what do you do!!
Look..we are in the bath and not screaming!! He still has his cord so we can only put a little water in it...and really, what fun is that!
He finally got to meet his B. B has been in a nursing home since Nov and so we waited until he got a little older to go see her..3 weeks is good right!! B has been so great since we put her in the nursing home..so "with it"..she was telling her friend about my infertility, the adoption and then she LOVED taking him down the hall and showing him off. Mom ran a great interference with keeping the other old people away from him..his hand and face I mean!! It was a lot of fun and it was so nice to see B so excited!!

Today Cady and her parents and family (13 people total) all were in town and wanted to do lunch. Mom and I met them since Bradley is out of town. It went well, they were so very nice and grateful about us bring him to see them. It went well, but I was just very grateful that when lunch was over that I got to take him home with me. It was not hard to watch Cady or her mom with him, but it was a little hard to watch her sisters with him...due to that Tuesday in Abilene...anyway, it was great to see Cady and I was glad to see that physically and emotionally she seemed to be doing great and here mom verified to us that she was.

Love this pic! We went to the Dr on Thursday and this is Bradley and him at the Dr..in case you were wondering why he was naked! He had a heart mummer noted at his Pedi apt last week so they sent us to the Cardiologist to check it out. All is fine and the mummer was an "innocent mummer".....Pulmonary Artery Branch Stenosis and PFO for my medical friends!
He was the best patient..never cried when they put on and took of the 15 electrodes for his EKG and was sleeping thru his echo and exam. He was awake for 2 hours..the whole time we were there and never cried..he must get is patience from his mommy!! By the way...8 lbs 4 oz and 21 inches long!!
We got this in the mail from a friend of a friend and loved it..it is hand made and is so stinkin cute!!! Thanks Angie! We cannot wait to try it on him!

This mommy thing makes me sleepy!

Things here are good. We are all slowly getting into a routine! Last night marked and "I told you so moment"...to whom, I am not sure! I said to many that it would not be long before Charlie was in his own crib..we bother him with all our noises and I hear every noise he makes! Last night he slept in his crib and it was one of our best nights!! I got to sleep until 9:30 and he did not wake up until 10am......this was the first time I woke up before him! Anyway, all is good here. Bradley leaves this weekend for his Exotic Hunt! This was his B-day present from me and our families for his b-day 2006! For those of you thinking "He is leaving them"....he better go and take this trip finally!! My mom is staying the weekend with us so I am really looking forward to some mommy-me time!.....Yes, I am 27..almost 28 and I still have mommy-me time!! This is like only the 2nd time ever that I have seen him suck his thumb!...too cute

We had a fun dinner time over at Mutti and Papa's house on Sat with Laura, Derrick and my mom...we are so lucky that our families like each other and like to spend time together!

We ate lunch with Mom, Amber, Sage, Noah and Amber's cousin Kyla(sp..sorry Kyla) on Sunday after church..this is Noah not trying to be funny, but being very funny while eating! There is always entertainment around when my nieces/nephews are around!

An mommy of the year award goes to.......he never actually cried if that makes it any better!!
More treats..I love that Tylene knows me well enough to know I love US weekly and am desperate to know about "Shiloh's life without mommy". Thanks to Mike and Chrisy also for our fun package from MA!!! We loved it all, especially the book!!

Okay, so I am not a bad mom who just put her child down on the ground, but I was vacuuming and I sucked up something I shouldn't have and the vacuum made some weird noise. So I turned it off, but I could not get out what I needed to without two hands..I put him down and then thought..I need my camera!! I keep joking that I need a fanny pack to hold all the phones and cameras so they are at my disposal instantly!! Please don't send my a fanny pack...I would never actually wear one......

After his circ yesterday he was not feeling to hot...duh...so we napped together in my bed and when I woke up he looked so sweet and so small..he actually did really well yesterday...he cried really bad on the way home, but not much after that ! He was 7 lbs and 9 oz yesterday!

Okay, so sorry about not posting any pics lately, but I am tired!!! People keep asking me if this was everything I expected it to be..and it is. I was surprised at how tired I am at night..and before you say "Duh"..let me finish..I am great during the day time. I have tried to take naps, but I am not that tired. Come night time and I cannot function I am so tired...so you would think I could nap and catch up a little in the day time..not so much! The last 3 night have not gone well. He has his days and nights correct, he just needs to be held or rocked or anything but put down in his bassinet!! Tonight we are going to try and let him sleep in his moses bed..he loves it and seems to HATE the bassinet...I am guessing he will hate anything that involves him not in our arms, but we will try anything!! Anyway, here are some pictures!!
