It's 5:00 somewhere..

My favorite time of the day is by far 4:30-5. I look forward to Bradley coming home, having help and relief. I look forward to the few hours of playtime we have left before bedtime..but it is so much more enjoyable when there is 2 of us here..sometimes I just don't have enough hands for everyone so everyone gets "half way done things" and when Daddy gets home we each can give 100% to one kid each! Maybe this has me rethinking wanting a third...??!?!?!?!? Anyway, I am super lucky to have a hands on husband who walks in the door ready to play...by far, family time at night is my favorite time of the day! Proof that I do get time to hold him...just usually no one here to take the picture!

Love that zoo pass

So, I don't hide the fact that I love the zoo and that we go there often..well, when you are on a unpaid maternity leave..free things are good!! This week Easton turns 5 weeks and for the last 4 weeks, we have gone at least once a week..always with someone different! It has been a great way to get Charlie out and about and Easton..well, he just rides along and doesn't seem to care!!

Charlie and Libby and the "dragon"..I was telling Charlie that this was a Komodo Dragon and he was super impressed..well, some kid next to him tried telling him it was a lizard and my sweet boy brought me over to the kid and says.."Tell him its a dragon and not a lizard mommy"...my little know it all...this is going to to bite us very soon, I can feel it!
Love having Grandmothers with us..at one point it would have hurt my feelings that he like others more then me...not now! My hands always seem a little full, so on a day when he is certain that Tutti is way better then me..my hands suddenly have a little more room!!!

Hope my sister-in-law does not get mad that I am putting this up, but I thought it was a great picture. I hate that my brother is "at the rack" as Charlie calls it (Iraq), but I am glad we get to keep his family company while he is gone.

bath time

Our little guy is still having some troubles keeping his food down.. and keeping his bottom clean and not red..but there is one thing that is guaranteed to make him relax and be calm..bath time! I know they say to bathe babies every other day, but when your baby smells like Nutramagin and really needs his calm time (as well as his mommy)..a bath every night is part of the routine!!

Oh Charlie!

This was our conversation with Charlie as he hoped into our bed when we all woke up from a nap last Friday...

Bradley (to me): I am not feeling good.

Charlie:Whats wrong Daddy? Does your head hurt?

Bradley: No buddy, my head is fine.

Charlie: Is it your tummy, does it hurt?

Bradley: No, I'm okay bud.

Charlie: Does your penis hurt Daddy?

Bradley: It's my tummy buddy, my tummy hurts!!!!!!!!!!

When does EVERYTHING stop being about his penis!! Charlie ask that because of Eastons issues with his penis after his circ...for the longest time after his circ, every time he cried Charlie would tell us "his penis hurts"!! Oh, these boys are killing me!!!!!!

Sorry that it took me a few extra days to get up the ones of Easton, but I was still making his birth announcement and did not want to put the ones on here before I mailed out his birth announcements..which, if I am lucky will be in ...2 more weeks! A birth announcement when he is 6 weeks old is totally okay, right??

I really was surprised that we managed to get any family photos..it was one of those days where no one was having their best day..so the fact that we got any with all of us smiling was a huge feat!!
