sweet boys

It's not often enough that dressing boys is super fun, but every now and then I find an outfit that I am excited to get on them..I was loving Eastons outfit for church today:)  It was fun and I thought super cute and it cost me $2.25 total...I love deals like that!!

I don't know if you can see the tiny pinstripes on his pants, but they made him look super GQ:)

Okay, Easton is huge (yet proportionate)..he was 24lbs at his 9 mo check (90%) and he was almost 30 inches (90%)..so I get that he is big.  But this picture..the angle is all wrong..this picture makes Charlie look small..and he is currently outgrowing his 4T stuff, so my 3 yr old is not small either....but doesn't Easton look like a ginormous baby next to teeny tiny Charlie..all in the angle I guess!!!  I would also like to add that Easton's head is in the 50%??  I asked the Dr after he told me that "Then why does his head look ginormous"..cause I like to bring all my big medical words to the table.  Dr. D just laughed and said it was his shiny bald head that threw things off!  East actually has a lot of hair now...for him!

Would have loved to coordinate the boys but Charlie was a last minute addition to church...I love me some cold weather..but I am over someone ALWAYS being sick..for reals.  Both boys have allergies and in the winter that turns into..ear infection, wheezing, coughing, snotting..you get it.  Today was the first time in about 6 weeks that all 4 of us have made it to class and church..we may have been 20 min late, but we were there:)..I blame being late on the late addition!!

This over the top smile/scream/grin is what I see about 427 times a day..holy cow, I am blessed!!

I swear to you that I did not prompt him to do this!  He got so excited to show me that he found a match and when I asked him to show me,  this was the avenue he chose....oh this boy makes me smile!

Western Day

I promise I wont make all post about Charlie's school stuff now, but I thought he looked too cute in his Western attire..I was working that day, so big props to Bradley for getting him in this get-up:)..and sending me pictures at work!

Miss Kendra sent me this picture while he was at school and it cracked me up....as soon as he found out the tops of his boots were yellow, his favorite color, I am surprised he didn't ask to wear them like this the whole day!

And while Charlie was at school this sweet boys got some one on one lovin time...I think he enjoyed it!!

school

So, we started Charlie in school just one day a week last Friday.  I never had any doubts he would love it..he was SO excited from the minute we told him!  I did hate the thought of putting him in school..once I send him to school, I forever loose that time with him.  Don't get me wrong, I feel strongly that he should be in some type of preschool before he goes to kindergarten..but we have 3 more years till kindergarten...so I wasn't totally ready yet, but I knew he would love it.  No surprise, he loved it and did great!  Just walked in and could have cared less if we left..warmed my heart!!  I am glad he did so great and I fully expect him to be a genius by the end of the semester:)

He got this backpack for his birthday and had totally forgot all about it..it was like a new gift all over again!!

At this point I felt kinda greedy for getting so many smiles....my kid who dislikes the camera was so pumped about school, just kept smiling and smiling!!

oh yeah, this is the tie shirt I made for Charlie..I may be slightly obsessed with it..and I may be making a few more!!

family pictures!

Our recent family pictures were part of the entire Way family photo shoot and I think we got some good ones..somehow, I cannot find my copy of the entire family, but people say it turned out good. I look like a complete and utter tool, but everyone else looks nice!:) 

Theses were some of my favorites!!

Andrea, Me and Laura. The girls look different then each other now (they are twins) but for many years I could not tell them apart..for the life of me they looked , well identical!!:)

I loved this one of Tutti and Papa and their grand kids!  My all time favorite of them didn't make the CD we were given, but they did get some good ones of them and the little ones!

If only I could photoshop individual people from each shot..I LOVE Charlie in this one...I am lukewarm about everyone else!

Easton cracked me up here. It was time to feed him, but I held off since the large family photo had everyone in white...and you know how he spits..or used to!!  We were not there 5 min when Easton spit up on Papa's jacket! So we never really got any big smiles from him...those come easiest when his tummy is full!!

So, my great Christmas gift??!?!?!  We tried Easton on regular formula this past Saturday..and he has done awesome!!  We have been transitioning him this week and he is now on all Similac!!!!!  I could not be more thrilled!!!!!  Many people have made the comment that we are going to really enjoy that extra money..well, we started Charlie in Pre-School one day a week and well..there is our formula money!!  I am happy to put it to good use though!!

 

If this isn't a milk drunk picture, I don't know what is!!  Despite how big Easton is, he does not drink this much formula!! 

He got super frustrated that he couldn't actually get it in his mouth and drink..mind you, he just finished a bottle!

Charlie insisted on being in this one..really, the kid who hates pictures???:)

Poor Easton, he "glows" in pictures like I do..I guess he is just angelic also:)

If you find a picture without Easton clapping in it, consider it a miracle!!
