baby einstein

When Charlie was a baby he LOVED his baby einstein dvd. I busted it out the other day and it seems little brother LOVES it too..funny thing was that when I turned it on it wasn't to long before both boys were glued to the TV!!

(sorry, I was feeling pressure to get some pictures up so I did not get to edit the photos..pardon the red eye!!)

The dvd is about 20 min long....it's amazing what I can get done in 20 min now!!

New Toy

So, we have had this bike thing in the garage for a while now and I have never tried it out..anyone who knows me and bikes can understand this! But, a few weeks ago Bradley and the boys and I ventured out. I rode the bike and Bradley ran...so he was nearby in case something happened..ie, I fell!! I didn't really think I'd fall, but I just wasn't sure how it would feel pulling them. It went great..no one was hurt and everyone had fun! Right before we left:) We rode the bike trail to a nearby park..took about 15 min to get there..
These boys played when we got there..

and this little boy slept..he was out in about 3 min into the ride and woke up when we got him out about an hour later!

..and we passed about 6 of these that night and Charlie was so excited..he just couldn't understand why I wouldn't just go grab on for him!!

Bajamas

So, Bradley said no matching outfits/clothes....He did not specifically say no matching pajamas..or bajamas as they are called in our house!
Things to take note of...
*Charlie is wearing 4T bajamas..and they wont last another month (at his 3 yr check up yesterday he was in the 85th for height and 80th for weight)
*Easton has had his cereal, but not his bottle..yet his tummy looks like it's going to pop
*I'm pretty sure it's just the angle that make his tummy look that huge!..same for me in all my photos!
*Easton is in 6-9mo bajamas and they wont last till winter:(
*My boys make me smile at how much they love each other...and how much they love me!
*Charlie told me he appreciated me yesterday...after "I love you", that may be my favorite thing he has ever said to me...well, that and "Mommy you have pretty boobies"
..oh, I didn't tell you that one:)

The never ending birhtday post...

So, in true birthday form..we had birthday week last week for Charlie's 3rd birthday! Bradley and I both had off for his birthday so we celebrated on Thurs, Fri and Sat! I tried to get these in order and since they were on 2 cameras..I was not super successful!

Greatest.Gift.Ever. for a 3 yr old who watches and LOVES Dinosaur Train...what more could a 3 yr old want..trains and dinosaurs! These 2 toys are interactive and recognize when another toy is near and they talk back and forth...it's hard to tell in these pictures, but he loved them!! I feel like a lot of pictures lately are just of Charlie in underwear..its been over 100 for like 15 days now...clothes can return again in October!
And the big gift from Mommy, Daddy, Moms, Grandaddy, Tutti and Papa...a play house!! He was super excited, which I kinda wondered if he would be since he had not really been asking for one, but no need to worry...he was pumped!! We have only played in 5 min increments due to the weather!!

Birthday breakfast..a stegosaurus dinosaur!! The next day he asked for a t-Rex and was almost in tears at my terrible T-Rex:( The stegosaurus was not that great but the spikes saved me!!

That night the grandparents came over so Charlie could understand that the big gift in the back yard was from them too...the grandmas were lovin on Easton..I should have posted the first one we took...kiddo look terrified!!

After Charlie's nap on Fri he woke up to this...we made a few for his birthday party..and by we I mean Bradley! Bradley had 2 watermelons and thought he could do one and so could I....uh, I have carved pumpkins with him and there was no way I was doing that again! After he carved the first one I bowed out gracefully and he did the next one also...I know my limits!!

Charlie was so excited and kept saying "I have never seen a Dinosaur like this before!!"

I try to go super simple on birthdays..for one things he is 3, need I say more, and since he has a summer birthday I always try to do pool parties and keep it simple. We did it at a water park this year and it is hard for me to go simple.. I so badly want it to look like a Dino threw up every where..but simple it was!! No party is complete without tat's....he thought the stegosaurus on his face was way cool!!

He has very clear orders as to where the three tattoos were to go..glad he has a plan!!

I usually do Texas Star for the cakes, but every year their prices go up. On the 2 cakes I wanted I was quoted $75 and $104 (for 25-30 people)..um, he is 3....no way can I justify that..he is 3?? So we tried out Creative Memories and I was just as pleased with them and they were about $40 cheaper:)

I had very specific instructions for a yellow T-Rex cake!

He about flipped out at the Dino candles..it's the little things right!! I think everyone was afraid to mess up Bradley's creations....almost no fruit was gone!!

Charlie was beside himself over birthday hats..I totally would have skipped out on them and that would have been a BIG mistake! He had a hard time understanding that other people could wear them....not just him!!

We had the hardest time getting the candles to light due to wind so we held up a towel to light them and let him blow them out...

and we finally lowered the towel some to help him out...

and then they were finally all out!!!

this party favor cracked me up..I intended to get a picture of all the kids in them..but we were at a pool..that wasn't gonna happen!!!

Easton played in the water until he feel asleep on my shoulder in the pool..he is still such a great and easy baby!!

The one thing I love about pool parties is that it is the one party that adults don't really seem to mind..it's just laid back for everyone!

My child will always say cheese, but he just doesn't manage to look at the camera and smile while he says it!! (that's my parents with Presley and Charlie)

such a stinker..he was once again saying cheese....:)

We waited till we got home to open gifts since I never know whats going to come out of his mouth, I thought it better to open at home!! He actually loved them all and has done a good job at playing with all his new toys and PICKING THEM UP!!!!! Holla..we are making progress!!

Can you tell he thinks he is cool stuff with his new backpack!

He got another interactive Dinosaur Train toy and about fell out!! He has slept with all 3 for two nights in a row!!

We were all about the Dinosaurs!!

Pictures

So, I finally got some professional pictures taken of Easton. I really love independent photographers as opposed to studios, but I like the prices of studios better!! I would rather save my money and get a professional photographer take our pictures when Easton gets older, but I wanted some good ones now for cheep! I headed into Portrait Innovations to get the 1 pose -$9.99 package and I did get that..and three other poses!..I have no will power when it comes to cute photos of my babies!

These pictures are from the CD they gave me with my purchase..I don't even think theses are the ones I ordered and these are fuzzy and grainy....the ones I got were great and I was happy with them...but still looking forward to some really good and unique pictures in the future!!

totally did not get this, but his face cracked me up!

I got one just like this, but better and more clear and it was my favorite..but I hate how they cut off his head..it's even worse in the one I bought.

They never could get the blanket to lay just how I wanted..I would have loved to take their nice camera and snapped a few of my own..cause the only ones I bought were the ones that I posed.

Did not buy this, but the mid-sneeze cracked me up.

Like every picture has a huge smile..really, out of 77 there were like 15 without smiles!!

I cannot find it but the photographer actually snapped a spit up right as Easton spit..with a huge smile on his face..and I was tempted to get it..just in case I forget this time in our life..you know, the time when I get puked on 10 times a day!!
