Remember that day on Facebook when I mentioned I only got 2 hours of sleep because all 3 kids were up all night..well this is me 20 hours later.  I had a long day of driving 3 hr to a funeral and then driving 3 hrs home..long day of travels makes you even more tired.  So, I walked in the door at 7pm dead tired..and Bradley and the kids have waited on me to go grab Chick fila...I thought crap all I want to do is go to bed so sweet!  While the boys were playing outside I noticed that Harper's diaper leaked and I had no more on me..I also left her blanket at home..and she spit up all over herself.  So, I needed her warm and quite and at this point I was to tired to even care what I looked like....so, I tossed her into my shirt.  Classy, right!  Bradley came back in from the playground looking confused and mumbling.."Are you breastfeeding or what??".....he wasn't the least bit embarrassed:)

this kid knows when he is being funny and getting reactions..and that just makes him preform even more!!  He got some good laughs with his Mr. Potato Head glasses! 

I love this picture of him..so many pictures that I take of Easton don't look like him..does that make any sense??  I'll take a picture and the kid in the picture doesn't look like the kid I look at all day..this one does.  He was having a great day and totally charming the pants off the Pedi Dermatologist!  Good news is that we cleared up his rash of 9 weeks and his skin has looked great since..pretty much great..there has been a spotty day here and there, but I think we have a system down that works good now!!

 

Sound muncher (same as show and tell) for the letter J...he chose his jets!  He has chosen almost all his own items...we have helped a few times, but I love to watch his mind get creative!  Last week was "W"..I thought he would have a hard time with that one so I was all prepared to mention his Spiderman watch.  He thought for 2 seconds and got super excited and announced " I want to take my Wii remote".. I love that he came up with it on his own and was so excited!!

 This may be one of my favorite pictures of these two..hence the fact that you are getting 3 versions of it!

I look forward to watching Bradley parent this sweet girl..I'm curious to see if she can wrap him around her finger any tighter then the boys...cause he pretty tightly wrapped with those two already:)

Bath time..the shortend version

Sometimes bathing all 3 by myself is tiring..the bath part isn't really as bad as the "getting ready for bed after the bath" part..Easton has more lotions and creams for his skin then I do!!  The other night I bathed the two younger ones in the kitchen and let Charlie take a shower.  I'm not sure if was actually easier, but it seemed quicker, the clean up afterwards was faster and most importantly...Easton can't lean over and drink the water..which leads to a leaky diaper..and me washing his sheets......which I did FOUR times last week.  For reals?????  Apparently he drinks just as much in the shower too..:(

Don't be alarmed..I'm trained in CPR..until Feb 18 and then I am expired...despite how close her mouth looks to the water in this picture, she never went under!  And I did drain some water after this picture!

Flash back..

this was Charlie and Easton when Easton was about..well, I'm not sure actually!!  It was in my August 2010 folder, but I don't think he is 5 months...I was thinking he was close to Harper's age....regardless, these 2 were pretty cute too!

Western Day

Another school year brings Western Day..this was Charlie last year on Western Day.

It always makes me sad to see how much he has grown in one year..I don't even want to think how big he will look next year:(  Last Sunday I put him in a pair of size 6 pants for church.  Kiddo has outgrown all his 4's and all but 2 pairs of 5 pants.....and he is not even 4 1/2 yet:( :( :(

This year..doesn't he looks cute!!  Well, except for this one!  We were right on time for school..assuming I didn't want to take pictures..so I was cutting it close to take pictures.  After I took the first picture I asked him what in the world was wrong and why in the world was he giving me that look..turns out he never went potty that morning....so add in a potty break and then more pictures and I am pretty sure we were late!!

I love that my mother in law saved my husbands boots and belt from when he was kid!  We got the boots out of storage to late so they didn't fit..but Easton will get to break them in for us...but I loved him in his Daddy's belt.  I have my grandfathers belt....the grandfather that my Charlie was named after and I very much look forward to the day my Charlie can wear my Grandads belt:)

Confession

Confession...dressing girls is sometimes more fun then dressing boys...not always, but tutu's are real fun...and I get funny looks when I put the boys in them..

Reason #247

On why I love my husband!

This is Charlie's scooter that he got for Christmas. This is it standing up. This is how it needs to be so that he can ride it. This is also my garage..not to be confused with any interior of my house.



This was how I found it when I went to get it...after I promised him he could ride it. It was snapped in half and i could not unstick it to make it rideable to save my life. Harper was eating so I was trying very unsuccessfully to feed her and and figure out how to make this thing pop back up so he could ride it. I may have called my husband and been short with him. I may have said to never fold it down again. I may have been a bit dramatic cause Harper was hungry and crying and I was frustrated.
Bradley tried to explain how to fix it over the phone and that went real well.



1 minute later I get an email of the above picture....God love this man and his patience for his sometimes slow wife!
Charlie was up in his scooter in no time;). Thank goodness one of his parents is smart!!!!

visit with m

Honsestly, I can never remember what I last did about showing pictures of M and the kids...I know I didnt, then did and then who knows!!  We hada court date last week and we had a quick visit with M and it was great!  Love her!  Just wanted to share theses three sweet pictures! 

This court date was the termination hearing..we will head back later for the consumation hearing.  We have to go twice this time since the adoption is private:)

Love this style of a 4 generation picture..but don't be fooled...it was not an easy picture!  It may have helped if Harper was asleep, but that would have required forethought!!

Last night was a big night in our house....all 3 of these angels slept all night...without any interruptions....it was heavenly!!!...and I'm sure it won't happen again real soon, but it was greatness!!

I love the way he always says her name..and how he uses the same inflection every time he talks to her!

Picture a day!

So I've been trying hard to take pictures of the kids every day..and I've been doing good!! Shock..who saw that coming..!

This kid..rocks. Love him. He can make ANYONE feel special!


She survived her two month shots..and her super girly cry afterwords was awesome!!


Seriously y'all...I am a walking zombie some days! Harper is sleeping through the night..but someone wakes up every night it seems..and of course it's always a 2 hr event;)

This is what most of harpers pictures look like...getting one where she smiles takes two people. One to make her smile and one to snap..cause if u hold the camera right above her then that's all she stares at!!


Charlie was in a MOOD..so Daddy treated him like the baby he was acting like...WOW his mood turned around instantly!! I got a video of it...I must actually sit at the computer someday and upload it!!

I was taking a picture to send to Bradley..he usually gets a few a day at work. Right as I snapped the picture Easton smacked Charlie in the head...this is how we spend a lot of the day. Go ahead and add umpire to all my titles;)


Cloth diapers...we have a love hate relationship. I love them when they are just wet..when they are "more" then wet..yuck!! But how cute is his bum!!;). Looks like he got his chubby back from his momma!! ......me not M!!
I started with some cloth diapers after the Pedi Dermatologist told us East was allergic to his diapers...and that was the cause of his 8 week long rash. Turns out, that was not correct, but we are still using the cloth..in addition to some regular diapers. Looking into the liners that come with these diapers..they are disposable and flush able...that sounds promising!!
And, by the time we hit 9 weeks..he is back to normal thanks to some moremedicine....


The Wii gun game...our little hunter is getting some mad skills!!


So, I had Harper in the moby today so I could do laundry and Charlie walked by and casually said "Humm, looks like a 2 headed monster to me"...that kid will be lucky to see 12!!

Sat night

Saturday night we headed to dinner with the Ways for January birthdays..dinner was good and dessert was even better! These were some of my favorites from tonight!

Easton eating calamari and Charlie being silly with his pasta! I think I have only found like 5 things that Easton won't eat!
