park days..at 100+ degree temps:(

Its summer.

Its freaking hot.

This past week has been better.

But these pictures are from about 3 weeks ago.

At that time it was still 100+ temps:(

Daddy can run and play and get hot.

Ill sit with Harper in the shade.

Its for her sake since she is a baby.

Not because I hate being in the sun.

Don't judge.

Try being this pale and liking the sun.

Because he now covers his face when he sees a camera.

I blame his father.

This kid has an ARM on him.

Two actually.

He can throw this ball like a kid twice his age.

Yup, he can throw like a 5 yr old.

You get the point, he is like super athletic.

You can blame me for that one.

Surly you caught the humor in that last statement.

So much for capturing his childhood.

This is a phase right?

It will pass right?

Even if he has been like this for 2 yrs now?

My boys rock.

They all make me laugh.

They all crack me up.

They are all awesome.

Glad God said yes when I asked for all three of them.

Still learning the ropes to baseball.

Helmets belong on for the whole game.

Kindergarten is a whole year away.

I tear up at the word kindergarten now.

He can never leave me.

Daddy's birthday

This year for Daddy's birthday I took the kids to the dollar store and everyone got to pick out daddy a gift....well, if we are being honest...Charlie conned me out of a $5 bill and picked out 4 things for daddy and one for him and Easton to share!  Charlie The kids had a blast doing it and it killed an hour on a very hot day!!

I loved Bradley's expressions as he opened each gift!! 

So, Charlie chose a measuing tape

and a flash light!! 

 I cannot even remember what the other 2 things were!!

Bradley let the boys blow out his candles..

and it took East quite a few tries to get them out!!

Swimming with friends

We have spent a lot of time in the pool..

Because it's to hot to do anything else:)

Harper Jane has fun..till she doesn't..and then its the ball pit for her!

We have had some fun pool days with friends...and we have even explored the creepy pool catcher thing!

Fun times

This summer has been lots of fun, but this will come as no surprise to anyone...I am over the heat and ready for winter!!  These long hot summer days can wear on a mama:)  But hanging with fun friends have made our summer days fun!!

This was from a summer day spent with Brady, Claire, Avery, Hank, Ben and Sadie Jo...while it was loads of fun....the mamas were tired when it was done!!  The next play day will happen once the oldest six start school in a few weeks!

Super fun that all are kids will be in the same grade in school, except Brady...who is oldest by a few years!  Looking forward to hanging out with these girls..and Ben..again soon!!!

He knows he is funny when he does this because as soon as he puts them on he tells you to laugh:)

I cannot remember if this was when Tutti, Libby and Charlie saw Beauty and the Beast or Rapunzel, but these kids love going to the theater with Tutti!!

..they love their treats too!!

Easton and Harper Jane:)

Easton and Harper have normal sized heads and supposedly Charlies is normal sized too....someones measurements are off!!  When all three get close to each other for a picture...it cracks me up at the largeness of the youngest twos heads!

You turn your back for a second...and someone paints themselves green and calls themselves "The Hulk"...

I have totally gotten my money's worth out of these costumes!!!

Summer fun:)

Just a few of my favorites from the summer!

Harper Jane can hold her bottle now and our world is sooo much easier!!  If she gets hungry while we are out and about in the car then I can make a bottle and pass it to Charlie.  By the time Charlie gets it Harper is practically grabbing it from him!  Charlie has perfected the..."halfway through the bottle, remove it and give her a pacifier".  We have found that by giving her about 5 oz and then stopping..waiting..and then giving her the other 4 oz about and hour later decreases her spitting up A LOT.  Only problem is those days where she refuses to stop at 5 oz.....'she likes her food' is a ginormous understatement:) 

I walked by the bathroom to see this..Charlie reading his bible.  He kindly asked for his privacy and when I shut the door he very loudly started "reading from the bible".  I heard about Nineveh, the Holy Spirit and Samson!  Love this age!

Um, beautiful:)

Holy Cow this kid is funny!  When he isn't sick and can remove himself from mama's leg...he is a HOOT!!!!  He walked into the kitchen the other day and had gotten himself ready to play baseball!  This kid loves to be running, playing and moving at all times.  If I'd let him he would stay outside all day playing, which is a nice change from his brother who hates to get hot!!

Hello AWESOME bow!! 

A four hour road trip in the car..even baby girl gets bored and needs some TV time!!

Margaret's visit!

Margaret came for a visit in July and it was so nice to have her and her sister here with us...it really was, they don't read the blog so I don't have to say that!!

It is so much easier on the kids when birth parents come to our house...to be honest, its easier on me too!  There is no warm up time, their is no shyness....the kids are on their A game the minute the bio's get there...which has to be nice for them too!

I was to lazy to turn this I could not get this to turn, but Easton loved drumming around the house and showing off his mad skills for Margaret and Kathryn.  It somehow disappeared when he sat it down though????

Margaret brought each of the kids presents and Easton and Charlie loved the blocks!  Charlie and Bradley played with us and we all ate lunch together.  After lunch Bradley and Charlie went to a movie and have time just the two of them.  I wanted Margaret to get to visit with everyone, but Charlie has a hard time when they come and visit and the whole visit isn't about him:)  So charlie and Daddy enjoyed a movie and that left Easton and Harper to entertain!
