Really

We took about 10 of these shots of just our family after the wedding..and no lie, I think they all look like this.....I'm not saying I am fan-freaking-tastic..but I look just like this in all them.  Never moved, never stopped smiling, never talked....its not hard people!!!!  I will say that I do look a bit awkward the way I'm holding Easton..but really, all three boys..in.every.single.picture...:)
I have sat down to blog...then felt guilty for not blogging, but the camera is broken and I haven't pulled out an extra....I must.....I'm feeling like a bad mom for not documenting every moment of their life:)

because 3 is just right for our family..

I have gotten a certain question a lot lately and my response is always the same..or at least I get to that above response eventually..
The Question?

Any guesses?

Yep, were that crazy...

We are starting the process for our third and FINAL adoption!!:)  Everyone was excited for adoption #1 and still excited for #2, but a lot of people are baffeled by #3.  We have always wanted 3...okay, there was a small time where Bradley was okay to stay at 2, but that was more motivated by the thought of paying for another!
More people seemed surprised by the thought of another as opposed to us already starting again.  This is about the same time we started the process for Easton..and the boys are 2.5 yrs apart.  We are hoping for that again..if it happens sooner or later, we are great with that too!!  I am much more relaxed and laid back about the third go around.  The first time, well thats obvious that I was desperate to have a child..the second time I was so fearful it wouldnt happen and that Charlie would be an only child or that they would be so far apart that it would be like an only child.  I really want three children........but if God says no more..I am thrilled with my life and my family and I could handle that answer from Him.
Bradley has a lot on his plate right now so we started paperwork early since I will be the one doing it all.  I basically do a paper a day..and you saw the stack above....I'll be doing this a while!!  Thats just what I have to fill out...there is a ton of other paper that I have to take care of and turn in..in addition to the above stuff!!  The goal is to have everything turned in and home study approved by the begining of next year...around the time Easton turns 2.
To answer the second most asked question...No, we are not adopting one more time "just to get a girl":(  That question annoys me at this point..Have you met my boys???  They are the greatest things sinced sliced bread..for reals, they are STINKIN awesome!!!!  If I have a house full of boys, I will be over the moon excited!  Do I want a girl..sure, but I want a boy just as much:)
I am best friends with my mom and I spend a lot of time with her..and I love her to death.  The thought of not getting to have that with a daughter does make me sad, but if I am blessed with three boys, then I am assuming God is bringing me amazing daughter-in-law some day..preferably an orphane:)!!
So, in addition to paperwork and my regular life, you can blame my lack of bloggin on...

Craft projects..I repainted my cloth chairs.  I love how they turned out...you paint them with reg paint and then heat seal it.  Once you take the iron to them they get smooth..not quite like cloth or like vinyal..a good mixture in between...which works great for kitchen chairs! I actually did this in one nap time, I have a few other craft projects that are taking up my time too!

Daddys schedule has been super busy so we take one day during the week to do something fun..yesterday we headed to the zoo after nap time..I kinda liked going in the afternoon!

Checking out our wing span..

Easton was playing with Daddy here...my mommas boy is giving me competition..
Dang, I think he may be figuring out that Daddy is actually the cooler parent:(

I've said it a million and one times..I love this smile..I hope I get to say it a million times more!!!

tubular

After 8-10 ear infections, all the Dr's decided it was time for tubes.  I had held off as long as I felt I could without messing up Eastons ears permanently:)  The Dr and I just kept hoping "this one will be the last"..but no suck luck:(  The only day the Dr could do surgery was on May 6..the Friday before the wedding.  I felt 99.9% certain that Easton would be fine by Rehearsal dinner time and as it turns out, he was fine from the minute they wheeled him to me...never once cried!!  That's my boy!!!  And that would be 100% polar opposite from his brother when he got tubes...different as black and white my mom reminded me that day:)
I don't think I realized what a charmer and performer Easton is..but he charmed and put on a show for everyone that day...I had about 10 people ask to keep him!  He went through all his tricks and the ones that got the best response, he continued to repeat:)  It is so nice when others get to see how great your kids are...especially on a day when your expecting them to see the worst of your kids!

Um, mommy forgot toys to play with so East stayed entertained with some desitin!!

This is shortly after surgery...for the first 10 min he was still kind of drugged and then once that wore off he was on speed...all over the bed, jumping, clapping, squealing.....hilarious!
The funniest part of the day was when they gave him the sleepy meds (versed and fentanyl)..it was entertaining to watch him.  For 5 min..nothing.  You'd never have know he got anything, but once he started following his hands around the room..we knew he was feeling good!!
Hopefully we will have as great of success as we did with Charlie and hopefully we will have NO more ear infections!!

Wedding weekend!

Last weekend was wedding weekend..my sister-in-law got married!!  While it was out of this world fun...I'm tired!!  Laura, her twin, and I were talking about how we were more stressed for this wedding then our own....that probably has a lot to do with the fact that our children were in this one!!  Theses are just a few from a family camera and some from my moms phone!
this Laura, East and me at rehearsal dinner..check out Easton..tired, but still smiling.  East had surgery that morning to put tubes in his ears and he rocked it!!  You'd have never know anything was off with him!!

I sure hope we find a great pic of  East in his tux...he was totally "fat man in a little suite"..but he was so stinking adorable!!
wish this wasn't fuzzy and on a camera phone, but it will do!  This is another sister-in-law Christy.  I am super blessed to have 4 sisters-in-laws..but it does confuse people when I say "my sister-in-law"....I always get "which one"!!

This little man was about to give me an ulcer on rehearsal night....he was not on his A game that night.  I was a bit terrified of how Saturday was going to go, but he and Libby both did awesome!!

Libby's face here cracks me up!!  All the bridesmaids with Jay...my newest brother-in law!
Okay, we had to be at the church at 4ish and by 5:30, these guys were loosing their minds!  Bradley found a shopping cart (and yes, thats Jay in the pic)...soooo random..and entertained these kids right up until the wedding!  No one wanted to get Easton out..cause then they would have to hold all 30lbs of him!!

this was one of the "before" the wedding shots!
The three original kiddos!!  Sorry Ange that your eyes are closed, but this was such a great one of your dress...that was BEAUTIFUL!!!

I showed Bradley this one and he said "It's good, but no one is looking at the camera"....that's because a family member was taking them at the same time as a photographer...boys!!
Super sweet!!

Love this..look at Laura and I and then Derrick (my other bro-in-law)..such a mans perspective of a wedding!!  It was a wonderful day and I know the bride and groom are having a blast in Kauai..and I am only just a little bit jealous!!!

embrace

I have mentioned before that I love reading The Anderson Crew blog and she is the one that started up Embrace the camera.  I have always loved the idea and it has motivated me to try and be in more pictures with my kids...but when  I read that her mom was sick and dying...I noticed that I have really been stepping  it up.  I have a irrational..or rational if you can remember my long health history from broken womb, heart arrhythmia's, some tiny skin cancer issues, etc....fear of dying young.  I have often wondered just how old I will get to grow.  Hopefully really stinkin old.  But you know I like to be prepared...so I attempt to keep up the blog, the shutterfly scrapbook and anything else that holds our memories.

This day was of no significance other then we were off running outside with some friends....super grateful that I've got a body that can get out and run with my boys...even if it moves and jiggles a little different than it did 12 years ago.....that would be the last time I ran:)

Easton had what Charlie likes to call "crazy hair" that day

I cant remember, but lets hope this was after the run!

someone has kissable lips:)

twinkies

I mean, it's almost like they are twins..scary, right?!?!:)
