Naked Baby Ahead!!

Well, I have had issues with Blogger, but I think I corrected the problem I made for myself!! Nap time is almost over..so this will be quick!! This is my Valentines gift from Bradley...I Love it!! He got the idea from Kendra and I am happy she shared her great idea!! We don't usually do much for Valentines Day..more like every other year we celebrate. This was an off year, but I got a gift anyway!! He ordered this for me for Christmas, but it was not ready until late Jan so it turned into a V-Day gift. I was reminding Bradley of my favorite Valentine story..so Bradley...Our first V-day together was in 2002..I think. We had only been dating since Nov & all my girlfriends kept asking me what I was getting him. I replied..nothing..we have not been dating more then 3 months..were not doing gifts. On Valentines we go out to dinner and after dinner he bust out a little blue box..shut up! I felt like total crap, I got him nothing!! He later informed me that he actually got the braclett in Dec for Christmas. We had only been dating a few weeks and he was afarid I would get him somthing..so he had the gift on standy by in case I busted out a gift for him!!! Even I knew it was to early for Christmas gifts!! Anyway, he gave me another great Valentines gift this year!!..and this time I got him something!! A new V-day tradation..a red dinner with the Brooms!! I LOVE to color food.. and I am pumped about next years dinner!! Can't have dinner and dessert without needing a bath!! Our first mixed bathing photo!!
He's not sucking on his thumb..just chewing on it..all the time!

Okay..this cracks me up!! Charlie has two 60lbs dogs at home and he loves them!! Loves to touch them, stare at them and he loves when they lick him!!! This is Laura's dog LC .Charlie is TERRIFIED of all 15 lbs of her!! She did not do a thing but look at him and that was all it took to make him cry...we took advantage of it and got a few laughs out of it!!! He's not dmaged forever..someday he will find it funny!!!!

Sweet Pea

Okay..blogger is acting up!! My pictures are here, but all I get is a bunch of mis-matched letters!! The first pic is Charlie before we began our "first meal"..we were pepping him up. Aparently no need to do that. He never made one "yuck" face and there was not enough swet peas for him!! I am not one of "those" people who eat baby food..you know who you are..but I will say...those sweet peas smelled so stinkin good!! I did contmeplate a bite, but good judgement kicked in to remined me that the texture alone would probally send me over the edge!

The last pic..he ate all the sweet peas..then his cereal and then took a bottle...and he slept like a baby!! Baby food rocks!! I have a viedo of him eating, but I am not trusting blogger today! Have a great day!

Happy 6 months!!

Here is my 6 favorite things my boy does these days!!

1. I LOVE that he sleeps so good..98% of the time. He naps usually 3 times a day for about 4-6 hours and goes to bed at 8ish and sleeps through the night!!!! This allows mommy and daddy good sleep too!!!

2. I LOVE that during bath time he has learned how to splash...really splash. Last night I was wet from head to toe, but I did not have the heart to make him stop. He was having to much fun!

3. I LOVE that he eats so good. He sits perched in his chair with mouth open and I love that he enjoys every bite!! He loves his bottle also and it's nice he can hold it on his own..sometimes!

4. I LOVE his screams..his happy ones!! You just cant help smiling and laughing at him when he sits there and screams..and trys out all his "pitches"!!

5. I LOVE that he can "self entertain" and does not need to be held all day long! He is now able to turn on his rainforest in his bed..and he has randomly done it at odd hours....which so far is funny!!

6. I LOVE how he love to hold and touch your face...he may not mean it as sweet as it is, but he puts both hand on your face and smiles and smiles!! He really loves Daddys facial hair too!!

I have told Bradley many times..we are SO in for it with our next baby..cause I just dont think you get lucky enough to get 2 that are this stinkin great and happy!!

Were rockin!!

Of course my family rocks, but what I am gettting at is that Charlie is gettting on all 4's all the time and he rocks, and rocks, and rocks!! I dont know how long they do that before they acutally start crawling, but I know my world as I know it is about to change!! No more putting a toy by him and cleaning, folding clothes or cooking. From then on out I will just be chasing!! Here are some pictures over the last few days..can you believe in 2 days he will be 6 months...HOLY COW time flies!!!

I love his outfits every Sunday morning!! He looked like such a big boy today!! I bought this shirt when I was pregnant..cause I knew it would be a boy..and I was right, are we really surprised!! I just cannot help thinking how good God is everytime I pull out something that I bought when I was pregnant. I was only pregnant for 8 weeks, but I know no one is surpriesd that I bought a ton is that short period!! He knew all along I would have my boy in 9 months..just on his terms!!
Okay..this onesie rocks!! This was his V-day gift from Moms and Grandaddy...I cannot wait to put him in it. I laugh every time I see this!!
I am not big on Disney stuff, but Bradley likes it so I got his just for him..the bottom is my favorite part!!

Allene got some great viedos of Charlie, but I could not get them on cause of their length, but I will have to have her get some more...him screaming, breaking toys and rockin!! Once again..no spell check.....sorry!!

Weekend recap..

So, not much has been going on..My mom, Christy, Charlie and me took a weekend trip to Canton and stayed in a B&B and then did some shopping!! We had lots of fun and Charlie did great. Bradley and my dad went to the deer lease so I took Charlie with me....I know when he gets just a little older that the deer lease will always win over shopping so I will take him now while I can!! These pics..as usual..are way out of order, but at least they are up! On Sunday when it was 70 degrees outside I had Charlie in shorts and a t-shrit and he just looked to cute and so much like a big boy in shorts...now that I typed that I looked carefully at this picture and I noticed that the shorts have been removed in this pic..oh well, there is one below..somewhere..of the shorts!
For some reason last night he just could not warm up so I got his favorite blanket and actually put it on his head and attempted a burrito wrap with a 20lb baby..yeah, that lasted!! He did warm up though..at least I assumed cause his lips were not shivering anymore!

Here he is eating breakfast in bed and the Bed and Breakfast!! We slept in the same bed together and he did great..that was a surprise to me!! Our morning did begin at 6 am as opposed to our usual 7 am!!
I went to put him into his crib last night and he must have been having a great dream cause he smiled and it lasted long enough for me to get the camera!!
Okay...remember how we were having sleep troubles..Prob sloved. Yet, somehow I feel like a bad parent due to the solution!! Atfer he eats or when he is tired..sometimes you can rock him to calm him into getting sleepy and then put him in his bed. But most of the time just lay him here and turn on the TV and he goes to sleep in less then 5 min. I swear Bradley and I do not watch that much TV and I hate it that the TV can put him to sleep..not enought to stop the bad cycle, but still!!
Cute shorts....btw..this outfit cost me less then $3!! I love to shop off season and get great deals, but I think that has to stop for a wihle casue he is wearing anywhere from 6mo-18mo...So I dont know what size to buy!!

Bring on the food!!

So, thank you all for you comments!!..well, maybe not the duck tape comment!! Charlie did great with his naps on Wed, Thursday and today. He is actually kinda fighting a cold, so naps have not been the prob...he took 5 on Wed and still went to bed at 8:30pm!! Say a prayer he gets better soon..colds during RSV season make me nervous. Here are some recent pics from Monday morning...before the "badness" began!!

Do not let this face fool you..he LOVES to eat!! I have started mixing in a differnt kinda of formula to transition him off the Enfamil Gentle Ease that he has been on. We have like a month or two worth of reg Enfamil that I got from my rep at work. He did not tolerate it so we changed to Gentle Ease..it is also a good choice for kids prone to food alergies..which he is. Anyway, when I make his ceral he gets reg Enfamil..and he can tel the difference the first bit or so..from then on he does not care!! By the way..all this changing up of formula is per his Pedi!

This is him on Sunday morning holding his own bottle!! This is kinda the begining of our nap issues!! He eats and then falls asleep in the car usually about 5 min before we get to class. He is good through class and sits in his chair all happy, but he is done after that. But then we try to make him sit through church and that just is too much for him..or so he thinks!!

I dont know if this viedo will work..sorry if it does notwork! I only took this for Bradley cause I was wanting to show him what Charlie does now at his feeds....he does this every time at every feed!! Turn up the volume and you can hear him sigh with happiness after each bite!! Okay it worked and I just watched it and this was not the one I was thinking of, but it took so long to get it on here...oh well!!
