Graffiti run

Bradley and I ran the Graffiti Run 5K in Ft. Worth last weekend and it was a blast!!  This was our before picture!

While it was not a timed run, I kept track myself and my time was not terrible...considering the long break from running and the gym that I recently took (see above picture), but my husband was just what I needed for a good time.  He slowed his pace down to run with me..and his slowed pace is still faster then my regular pace!

 This was taken about 30 seconds after we finished:)

So much fun!! 

 

I really thought that my hair was going to be pink for days..but it washed right out..kinda wished it hadn't:(!!  That led me to tell  Bradley I wanted pink hair this summer..and he said okay??????  Not  what I was expecting, but be on the look out this summer!

 

When we picked up the kids my mom snapped this full body one for us..I know, we look so hot:)!

 

Once you finished the race you could get your free pack of color so Bradley and I each grabbed a different color and once we got the boys home.. we covered them!!!

Easton had a blast despite this look..the self timer concept was lost on him!

those cute pictures that I didnt buy....

I am a sucker for pictures..I LOVE LOVE LOVE pictures, but I am finally coming into some self control with pictures.  I have come to terms that some pictures are just meant for our shutterfly books and a few are for our walls.  With that, I vow every year not to buy school pics because while my child may be cute in the pic..its not my favorite style of picture. 

I thought this year would be a breeze once they described the backdrop...I barely had anything that even matched to put the boys in....it was still 100 degree weather when we took our "fall" pics!  Breeze to turn them down right..breeze my butt!!!  I had self control and did not buy one picture..but I did take a picture of a picture with my phone...so I can put that in my shutterfly book!!

So, Charlie loves to dress up in his old Halloween costumes..and he loves to drag Easton into it too! Occasionally Bradley will walk up to me and say "this is good..you probably want your camera." Well, this was one of those days I was glad I grabbed my camera!!

This is nothing short of awesome!!!! That's his ninja costume from this year, his skunk hat from his second Halloween and some random crown from the dress up stash!! I love his creativity;)

charlie walker

My baby is 5 y'all...I am really not okay with it..like, really not okay with it. 

I cannot believe what an awesome kid he is!  Charlie is funny...really funny!  I think I have a charlie story for Bradley almost everyday when he comes home from work:) He is getting a really creative imagination and its fun to watch what he creates in his head and spins into a story.  There are also those times where I just want to get an answer to my question and he cannot for the life of him answer me with the truth...lots of versions of it, but not quite accurate!!

I love watching Charlie be the big brother...he was created to love on his brother and sister. I'll admit, he'd prefer babies over 2yr olds most times, but I love watching his and Eastons friendship grow:)

Characteristic that will get charlie far in life..this kid is sneaky!!  So far its usually in funny ways, but I better be on my A game or he is going to run all over us!

I love this kid and he makes me smile everyday.  Still go to bed every night thanking God for Cady, Mark, Margaret, E and D.  We are so blessed.

Easton Andrew

Easton only has three pictures from this photo session...he did great for the first 5 minutes.  Then he wanted to only lay down in pictures on this big fuzzy pillow..when he was told no..he.shut.down.  So, these three are all I have!

Still owns the title of the worlds happiest kid..he really is almost always happy.  He is definitely two though!!  He is finally getting some attitude and tosses out "No" to me more then I'd like, but its nice that he is acting like all 2 yr olds!  In the last 4 months he has made HUGE progress with ECI and we are all feeling like come March when he turns three that we will be done with therapy!!!!!  He is really doing so well in all areas:)  We may still do some outside therapy for some of his sensory issues, but other then that he has come so far!! 

Our biggest accomplishment lately...potty training:)  I am officially more potty trained then he is, but he's getting it.  Like all things Easton does..and his therapist would all give a big AMEN to this...he takes his sweet time figuring it out.  He almost never tells me he has to go, but will hold it for hours till I remind him to go.  He almost never has a pee accident it's usually the other...ugh:(  We have been at it almost 2 weeks now and he usually has none-1 accident a day..until he went back to school.  Poor Easton is terrified of the potty at school...and most public potties also.  Poor kid, I feel bad cause he needs to go, but he FREAKS when you go in..FREAKS.  So, he holds as much as he can until he gets home...any advice is welcome:)

I love this sweet boy so much..he is such a gift and he brings me so much joy.  I love that as he is getting older and coming into his personality..he is showing us how stinking funny he is!  I love you Easton and I am so proud and so lucky to be your mama:)

Harper Jane

So, I don't really make new years resolutions, but this year I made one....blog better and more consistently!!  With my terrible memory and my busy life I totally need to be better at documenting this time in the kids life.....because you know I won't remember it.  My kids can read this back to me in my old and forgetful years...Notebook style:) 

 Ill attempt to get to Christmas soon, but for now here are some of my favorite of the kiddos from a photo session in November!

Harper Jane..this face rocks!!  Harper is such a happy and easy kid.  She doesn't take the tittle as my easiest child simply due to her girly dramatic tendencies:)  She is SO SENSITIVE and emotional compared to the boys!!!

She still sleeps great and shes an okay eater.  She is pickier then Easton was, but not nearly as picky as Charlie was!  If you'd let her she would like to live on milk and carbs...wouldn't we all..minus the milk:)

This girl loves her bothers and they love her!  Easton has moments of picking on Harper..but just like Charlie has moments of picking on Easton....I guess you just pick on the one younger then you.  Looks like sweet Harper Jane is out of luck then!

I have more people then I can count complement her on her eyes..and they are stunning.  She knows how to work a crowd for smiles..if she is interested:)

She has been my healthiest baby so far..I think only 3/4 ear infections..which is remarkable compared to her brothers!  All three kids have allergies pretty good so they are all snotty this time of year...take that however you like:)

Harper is almost walking...she could have been walking 2 months ago if you could just convince her she wasn't timid! She can do it if she wants to, but I'm in NO rush for her to!

This little girl gets into more stuff then her brothers ever did..combined.  She climbs up the stairs if you forget for 2 seconds to put the gate up, she loves to play in an open potty (Ewe:(, I have wasted more toilet paper with her just unrolling it and dragging it around the house, and I am now committed to vacuuming more weather I want to or not!

Harper is about 22 lbs..out of all three kids I never had a tiny baby..my babies are big and rolly..and I LOVE IT!!  Her thigh are to die for:)

She loves to dance with her brothers.  I could spend all day watching the three of them dance..they have some killer moves:)

For reals, isn't she beautiful!

family pictures

We finally got some more family pictures taken and I was super happy with how they turned out....my expectations have been lower with each added child, but these all turned out good!  That in itself is a miracle since Easton melted about 10 min into photos!

Charlie requested silly pictures about 10 times..we finally obliged him:)

Getting the three of them together..that was a bit tougher!

She's waving here..my baby can do more and more tricks and each one makes me a little sadder:(
