Im alive!

So, the house is done and the shower we threw for Presley at my house is over....so my life may be getting back to normal! Now, if I can just get a baby and screw up that normal, I'd be happy!! We have family in on both sides for the holidays..so the lack of posting may not improve anytime in the next week, but soon!! Honestly, I am working off the laptop since the computer is dead and that is the real reason for lack of posting...I do not love laptops at all!

Boo in the Zoo!

So, we moved recently..to be more specific we did the bulk of our move on Sat the 31st..yup, Halloween. Big surprise that I could not find anything that night..my costume, my decorations for my trunk at church..um towels to dry off with so I could go clean to the Funnival!! So, the only Halloween pictures I have this year are from Boo in the Zoo, which was about a week before Halloween! These 2 crack me up!

Another great year at Boo in the Zoo..and it was just what I wanted to do for my birthday!! Still working on the house..and it is kicking my butt!! I will get pictures up once we get the office going!

Bless our hearts..were the people that I used to talk about (i know, serves me right huh)..we are now the featured couple..the ones they cannot get rid of...ughhhh. If one person tells me to be patient...well, don't, it wont be good for either of us!

Great birthday gift!

One of my favorite birthday gifts this year was from my mother-in-law. She surprised me by taking Charlie to get his pictures taken..and she got some super cute pictures!! I put these on the blog from Shutterfly so there is weird spacing..anytime I tried to fix it, I lost pictures..so don't mind the weird set up!

Thought I should clarify..after a few questions..Presley Faith is my new niece..# 8 actually!!! I just assumed when I put her picture up there that most everyone knew that Miss Presley was Christy and Adam's newest little one..# 4 actually!!!

I am in the process of hopefully moving this weekend..I emptied out my entire house yesterday and cleaned it for the next people..once Bradley gets the last few loads from the garage then its done...and then I only have one house to worry about....one that I am hopefully getting keys on today. There has been hang up after hang up so I am not holding my breath, but HOPEFULLY!! It will probably be a few weeks until I have Internet..it is supposed to be set up today..cause I am supposed to be in my house already...but I am not complaining, okay I kinda am, but I know there could be worse things right now!

I can hear Bradley's voice in my head right now....because as I type this, we have two very different opinions. I check the Christian Homes website every day, if I am being honest, its probably closer to 2 or 3 times, but who is counting. I checked last night and three more people got a baby...three more people who are not us!! Bradley and I differ cause his thought is why even check the website...I cannot even wrap my brain around that statement! So, I am pretty sure, but not 100% sure....we are now the couple who has waited the longest....so now I really may be bitter at someone else getting a baby before me!! All in His time, right!

Bradley did point out that we are currently a little overwhelmed with the move and its probably better we don't have a baby yet, while I agree 100%..that does not make me want one any less...

Pumpkin Patch!

We headed to the pumpkin patch out in Flower Mound again this year..but due our busy schedules the only time we could go was on a Sunday afternoon....not good planning! That place was out of control busy...like, even I was overwhelmed, not just Bradley! The kids had a great time, even if they only got to do a few things. Charlie still tells random people that we "go to the Pumpkin Patch!"...like they care! The line for this slide was long and I was afraid that after waiting a long time in line he would freeze going up the stairs..or freeze and not want to go down the slide. I was talking him thru this while standing in line..telling him what would happen and how to get up there. I told him if he got scared when he go to the top then just slide down on his tummy..that was god planning. When he got to the top he panicked for 0.005 seconds and flipped over on his tummy and came right down..without ever holding up the line!!
Still learning to like bounce houses..He kept pointing and yelling at kids to "Stop jumping, Stop jumping". This look is so him..

he is a little mini me of Bradley..what Daddy does, he does like 5 seconds later! I am making a mental note to go back next year, just during the week days!

Girls night..

I am old..not because I turned 30 this week. That did not make me feel old, I still feel 20 and I am wondering if I will ever really view myself as old. That said..I have old moments. We had a girls weekend a week or so ago it was just what I needed and I totally enjoyed myself that weekend, but my girls weekends have changed quite a bit!!! We got a hotel in Ft Worth for the night and got there early with the intent to get a mani/pedi, walk around downtown, nap..just do whatever we cannot do at home! Well ,we got there and....did nothing for about 3 hours! Kendra and I got there early and made bows..real cool I know!! Kendra found a new way to make bows and they are greatness!! Anyway, I got sucked in and we made way to many bows to even count!

When Christy and Shannon arrived we headed out to dinner..Mexican! Kendra and I were cracking up that we brought nice clothes and by the time we headed out we all kept on our t-shirts and hoodies! Not like the old days..this weekend was all about comfort and relaxing!

We came back and played cards, talked, made more bows and rented a movie..I almost made a mistake and ordered a questionable movie, but I quickly fixed it and we watched Ghost of Girlfriends Past..which I thought was cute! Since I am know for being the first to bed and the first to rise I would like to point out that I was last to bed and 3rd up...making progress!!

It was a fantastic weekend that was MUCH needed...even if I did have to share a bed with this girl!!!!!
