Still no heat

We woke up this morning, all three of us snuggled up...and hot!!! I am amazed that we were hot and sweaty....since the upstairs was 48 degrees!!! That means the downstairs was 46 degrees!! We just left and are headed to eat breakfast somewhere!! Hopefully there will be power when we get home!!

Uh oh...

Just lost power...this may be a long and cold night!! Judging by the very loud pop that came from the backyard right before we lost power, I am guessing we may be without power for a little bit. I just hope the heat comes back on at some point tonight!! Wish us luck!!

It is still snowing!!

I talked to my sister in law and she mentioned bringing her kiddos over after school..which worked great for me cause I was not looking forward to getting Charlie all dressed up for 2 min outside. If Christy brought her kids over then Charlie would have more fun and stay out longer...right!! Addison, Hope and Katie..they hit the door and took off running!
Hope was not satisfied until she got pushed on the swing..I tried explaining that we can do that any time, but she would not back down!!

One of a few pictures of Charlie in the snow...he did not like being cold, wet, having his feet stuck by snow drifts, watching his mom play with other kids..should I go on!! He last about 5-10 min and went in, but then came back out when my mom got there!

Rolling down the hills..I could not help myself and joined in..it was as much fun as it looked!!

Without prompting all the kids dropped at the same time and went into "snow angle" mode!!

Presley joined in for about 2 min and then Christy..my cold natured sister in law...took one for the team and went inside with Charlie and the others when they got cold!

Brady loves to eat snow..for the first 10 min out there..every time you looked at him, he was eating snow!

This is my driveway..after shoveling THREE cars out of it....who would have ever thought you'd have to shovel your driveway in Texas!! We tried not to, but when the cars started sliding and were getting NO traction..we busted out our shovels..and I counted that as my exercise for today!!

Um, the cold had gotten to them and they were CRAZY!!!

We made a daddy, mommy and baby snowman!!

It was a snow day and I looked every bit of it..I think I got out of my PJ's and brushed my teeth for the first time at 3:30 this afternoon...that is a LAZY day!!

It's 8:30 here and it is still coming down pretty good..they are now saying 7-11 inches!!!!!! As long as it is gone by my drive to work on Sat, then I am good!!

My husband just called..not really, he texted me.. and asked me to get pictures from the front of our house. Since my middle name is submissive, I when right out side to get them. Then I promptly when back inside, added a few more layers and then headed back out..and across the busy street..which was not nearly as busy today! look how deep!

The view from the front yard..across the street! When I was little I always wanted a house with columns, a wrap around porch and a balcony..in that order. Well, I love the columns and I think I can convince Bradley to put in a deck/wrap around porch thing..and I can live without a balcony! I know curb appeal is that last thing that is important when buying a house..but I always had a hard time wrapping my brain around that one. When we drove up the first time..I LOVED this house...and I think at least once a day I manage to tell Bradley how much I love our new home!!

Wow..again!!

This is our 4th snow this winter..not our usual Texas snow..this is real snow!! And this may be the biggest and best yet!! And if I have not said it 125 times...I love my new back yard..and when it is covered in snow, it is the most beautiful thing ever!! Lucky for me, I am off work today and tomorrow, so that means I have been trying to convince my husband to leave work all day with no luck:( So, I guess Charlie and I will attempt a fire and snow man on our own!!!

When Charlie woke up today..okay, when I woke up, I called him to the window..so excited!! His response..without any enthusiasm.."So, were gonna build another snowman?" He has not idea this may never happen in his life time again...good, fluffy snow!!! I don't think this picture will ever get old!

I'm sure I jinxed it

I shopped..at the Children's Place....I LOVE that store..and their fabulous sales...I got all 28 of these items for $90.00...no item was more then $3...and I bought for next winter and a few things for the following winter..so far, buying ahead has never really burned me...so, what did I jinx???

I bought them matching Christmas PJ's...lets say it in unison.....

Bless her heart, she'll never get a baby....

So, anytime I complain about waiting on #2..have I mentioned that in a week and a 1/2 it will be a YEAR..just remind me that I did it to myself...

all this long wait can be blamed directly on me...for buying matching outfits and assuming I'll have a baby by Christmas...once again, bless my heart!
