These two...

These two boys fight like brothers..but they are starting to have more and more sweet moments where they are playing together and making each other laugh....like last night at dinner when they were throwing peas all over the place and at each other..its the little things:)
I usually kick them outside  encourage them to play in the back yard while I cook dinner each most nights.  I was kind and gave them a popcicle appetizer since it was misserably hot out.  I looked out about 5 min later and saw that Charlie had brought both boys chairs over the the payground, which is all shaded....I had to snap a picture...and then refer to it all week long everytime they tried to kill each other:)

I've got an excuse this time!

I've been slacking again..but this time I kinda have an excuse;). In the past month there have been an ER visit for mama and an over night hospital stay for Charlie and one for mama...it was one of THOSE months!!

My ER visit was the result of a ruptured ovarian cyst, we think. I had a hysterectomy two weeks ago (it was already scheduled prior to the ER visit) and I'm back to normal..minus a uterus and an ovary!

Charlie bounced back quickly from his hospital stay! He ended up in the ER with breathing problems and ended up staying overnight for a 24 hr stay. We got his breathing under control once they diagnosed him with mycoplasma pneumonia. Once the antibiotics got in his system he turned the corner quickly!

Minus the needle for the blood draw, I think he enjoyed himself..at least all that one on one attention from both mom and dad!

This was when we got there..poor guy was soooo tired..this started at 9pm and we got to the ER at 6am..we were all EXHAUSTED!

Perking up a bit after what seemed like 15 breathing treatments. Laying in bed with his legs crossed..this pose cracked me up;)

Stickers fix everything..right;)

You could tell that he was feeling better once he started getting silly! He was feeling better after about 3 hrs in the ER, but was still huffing and puffing and working hard to breathe.

Charlie in the wheel chair..it was needed cause he was so winded..but he was a bit happy to be in it. And he ate up the attention he got from it;)

Once we got to a room...naps x3. It was like 2 pm by now..and we had all been up since 2am straight....so so so so tired!

Just so he didn't feel left out, Easton got strep like 3 days after my surgery!

okay kids...get this memo...NO more sickness for a least a month..mama and dad need a break!!!!!!

Rangers game

**sorry about the last post not coming out right..trying to blog from my phone on the couch..and things got squirrelly and wouldnt fix like I wanted😞. You can look at the pictures and figure it out, right?**

We took our family and Brady and my parents to the Ranger game for one of Bradley's work things and the kids loved it!! What's not to love when there's cotton candy involved;)

These faces crack me up, but seriously.. Charlie's face makes me want to pee my pants!!

There were sticky hands all around!

Our family picture for the night.

These three sweet boys were dying all day for the game! They all did so great at the game..it was the first time my kids sat and watched the whole time and didn't once ask to "go play".

Love these sweet cousins!

Brady;)

Brady and Charlie spent the night with my parents after the game...these two have so much fun together;)

It was a two thumbs up kinda night and day!

Randomness!

Phone unload!!

Sent this to my 12 yr old niece who can braid her and my hair just like anything you can find on pinterest..she is kinda amazing! This is probably the only braid I'll ever be able to do on my own so I texted her a picture last week!

I thought this bow was fitting for this shirt;)

I told Charlie to get dressed one day so we could run to Target..this was what he chose! What cracked me up was when people would say to him "hey, you play soccer?". He would look at them like they were complete idiots and say "No, I play baseball"....that kid!

These pictures are from a while back..they were taken the day I lost my phone..so it has taken me a while to find them again!!  The kids and I went to the park with Tylene and Grayson and Ty brought along her camera and got some great shots of the kids.  I love pictures that capture them doing normal things giving me their normal..sometimes sassy..expressions!

This kiddo loves his scooter and loves to take it out places..he thinks he is the stuff when he is riding it!
Could.eat.him.up

Um. he is beautiful....and kinda sweet too!!

Charlie looks so old and mature with his sleeves rolled up..he was working up a sweat this day!

I need to see this sweet face today.  I am really trying hard to figure out a way to parent Charlie in a way that leaves both of us happier at the end of the day....I'm tired of going to bed feeling like a crappy mom.  This kid..he rocks..he has the most amazing heart and he is SO funny.  He is thoughtful and loving..but for some reason..he doesn't like to show others this sweet side.  I feel like the rest of the world misses out on this awesome kid..because he doesn't always show people his sweet side.  I know I am not helping the situation..I know I get frustrated to easily and my expectations are to high. I often forget to treat him like a 4 yr old.
I have dedicated this week to praying Col 3:21 with Charlie specifically in mind.."Parents, don't come down to hard on your children or you'll crush their spirits."
I told Charlie that his verse this week to focus on is Col 3:20.."Children, always obey your parents, for this pleases the Lord.":)
I also dedicated this week to getting up at 6am all week and having my quiet time before the kids get up..I'm hopeful this starts the day off better and sets the tone for the day!

This look so says "What are you looking at?"
Um, your beautiful face sweet girl:)

I get this look a lot:)

This face is usually smiling while uttering "hold you"...um, Easton..your 32 pounds...mama cannot hold you all day..despite your constant urging:)

Stinker!

My buff athletic kid..or so that's what this picture would make you think!!

I love all three of these boys...they are all so sweet to each other!

Charlies many expressions just scream "BRADLEY"!!

Hello Chubby thing!

Harper Jane may give Easton a run for his money on the "happiest baby ever" award!

This look..this is what I'm praying about:)
