Got the boys off to their first day of pre-school today and they both did great! I wasn't worried about Charlie, but I was about Easton. I was not planning to send Easton until recently..after ECI suggested it a few times..and then I also realized that he needed to learn to be away from his mama. His need to be right by my side was only growing stronger so we are hoping school teaches him some independence! To my surprise, Easton did better then I had anticipated!! He totally cried, but it was shorter and quieter then I was ready for. YAY!!
Pictures before school were not a success..but they were taken and we were super early to school...so I get points for that, right!!!
you get out takes and all today!!
really Charlie?!!?
the bow must be making Harper's head heavy!
and they are about done...
this wins as the best of the three of them!
um, this face says so many things....
no more pictures mom...
he is "trying to break my camera with his big smile"...what, a little white lie to get a kid to smile never hurt anyone..
He wanted to show off his back pack....and I get mom of the year for letting him pick this one out. The 3-d shark head is terrible, but he loves it!!
He was not ready or excited for school until he got the back pack and then he was super excited to go!!!
Easton knew something was up today..my smiley happy kid was whining and crying for me while I was trying to take his picture..at our house...I got no good pictures, BUT I did manage to capture an accurate representation of how Easton felt about school!!
Keeping his backpack up on his shoulders wore him out. I looked over about 5 min later and the back pack is laying in the driveway and Easton was getting in the car!
This face is the one I know and love! He thought I was done with pictures so I surprised him and got a good one..while running from him:)
Since school is now 4 min away (HOLLA) we were early. To kill time each boy picked out a song on my phone and then headed in with all smiles!!
The boys had to talk to Daddy before school!
So blessed that today was a great day!

So glad they had a good day! Lucy started pre-k recently as well and we weren't planning to put her in either, but God informed us of different plans just days before the school year began;) She is loving it though, so that makes it easier for my momma's heart that wants her home with me.
